The collection of works by Ján Mančuška was created between 1995-1997. It is unique in the sense that it represents a relatively short but intense, transitional developmental stage of the author's work. From this series, the following have survived a limited number of works. The works from this period of painting and, to some extent, printmaking were that allowed him to develop a direction in which he broke away from metaphysical transcendental experience and took a path towards depicting the liminal objecthood of everyday life. These works thus partly represent an important intermediate stage and at the same time are logical basis for his future all-round artistic development. The basic scale of the presented works is partly, or completely, human figure. The works are characterized by the ability to contextualize immediately thinking.
