Japan, ceramic centre Seto, 18th century , stoneware, ivory, spoted purple-brown glaze, small bulbous container for powdery tea, two side handles, ivory cover, bottom of the container without glaze and cut off in shape „hon-itikori“, height 4,5 cm, diam 8,5 cm Provenance: from PhDr. Lumíra Jisla private collection; Dr. Jisla bought it from A. Brüll from Nový Jičín in 1955. Brüll obtained this item from Hugo Meyl´s collection from Munich; Meyl obtained this item in Munich´s auction house of H. Helbig (8.–9. 7. 1930, cat. no. 350, pictured in tab. no. 18).
