After professional restoration. Pavel Hlava (1924 -2003) trained at the famous glassmaking schools in Železný Brod before completing his studies at the Academy of Applied Arts (VŠUP) in Prague. He soon mastered many glass art techniques and combined classic technologies with new trends and design. His was a worldwide known artist and became a member of the jury of the International Glass Exhibition in Kanazawa.
