Miloslav Prokop was a pioneer, engineer and designer in the field of lighting technology. In his architectural projects (e.g. the former Straka Academy (now the Office of the Government) in Prague, the film studios and terraces in Barrandov, the Bílá Labut' department store, the new building of the Mánes building, the Memorial in Žižkov, the Radiopalace in Prague, the Dämenovské Caves, etc.), Prokop followed a timeless principle: The luminaire or light source must be an organic part of the space, its function must be obvious. It is not the shape that is decisive, but the lighting as a source itself, because in the evening the light becomes an architectural element.
As a member of the association, he also designed the interior of the inner passage of the Palace of Cooperative Work by arch. O. Starý, where the Krásné jizby shop was also located.
