Arch. O. Polívka is one of the most important architects of the Czech Art Nouveau. The first Czech Mutual Insurance Company in Spálená Street is, together with the Municipal House the most significant example of modern thinking in the early 20th century, the narrow collaboration of leading Czech artists and architects and a perfect example of of precise design.
