Mimmo Germana, Italian painter and sculptor, belonged to the 1980s to the circle of the Italian artistic transavantgarde, which similarly like the neo-expressive movement in Europe, rejected abstraction and conceptual art and returned to figurative art and symbolically rendered motifs. Typical manifestations of these works are expressive "wild" painting, varied colours of pure unbroken tones with scenes from contemporary or mythical world. together
