Italian company Alessi was founded by Giovanni Alessi in 1921 and from the beginning produced items of every day life. Under Giovanni’s son Carl, the company continued to produce top design authored by prominent world designers for instance Carlo Mazzeri, Luigi Massoni, Ettor Sottass, Philipp Starck, Josef Kaplicky and Zaha Hadid.
