Fritz Janowski is a representative of the late symbolism of the early 20th century.He worked sensitively with a subtle gradation of color tones as well as with light changes. He was able to express the atmosphere of given stories and situations. His manifestation is close to Central European symbolism with its pensive dreaminess and disturbing imagination.
