Paintings from this period are characteristic of a strong artistic vision that goes beyond the boundaries of the seen world. Thanks to the Henry Prize Chalupecký Award, which he received in 1993, he traveled to America, where he learned about Hindu teachings (like Vladimir Kokolia), which influenced the author in a fundamental way. spiritual direction and also influenced in the themes of his paintings. Martin Mainer studied in 1978-1981 University of Applied Arts in Prague and in 1981-1985 at the Academy of Fine Arts Arts in Prague. Since 1998 he has taught at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, where he He became an associate professor (2002) and professor (2004). From 2012-2018 he was the head of the painting studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
