In a series of works from the series Postnaturalia, Krištof Kintera shows his vision of the technical world with its products, which have become an inherent part of the contemporary world and have become almost our nature, our second nature. The electronic and electrotechnical components of computers, televisions and other devices have been transformed in his presentation into a hybrid living organism whose wires and cables have become the roots and nervous system of a new nature and have created entirely new plant species. Kinter's utopian vision of post-nature touches on ideas about the future of our planet, but also on ecology, without moralizing or taking a critical stance. Krzysztof Kintera's works from the Postnaturalia series were exhibited at the extremely successful and record-breaking Kintera exhibition at the Rudolfinum and then also in the important international Maramotti collection in Italy in 2017, for which part of the installation was also purchased. Part of this installation was also purchased by the National Gallery. K. Kintera (*1973) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio of Milan Knížák in 1992-1999 and from the Rijksakademie van Beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam in 2003-2004. He has been nominated three times for the prestigious Jindřich Chalupecký Award. He is one of the most outstanding contemporary Czech artists.
