A ceremonial mace

Mali, wood, base metal, metal ending on both sides, max. length 195 cm;

This mace was social emblem of its owner. Or was worn during special events as were initiation ceremonies or funerals. In native language are called „kala nege“. Refer to presence of magical powers.
